Scanpan A/S is one of the world's leading producers of PFOA-free nonstick products and has for more than 3 decades manufactured high-quality Danish cookware. Deeply anchored in tradition, using sound techniques of craftsmanship, Scanpan creates timeless yet functional tools for any modern kitchen, from the household to the professional. Since our beginning in 1956, SCANPAN's squeeze-cast aluminum products with our patented ceramic titanium surface HAVE represented the core of our cookware business. To maintain the highest quality control possible, all of our nonstick products are manufactured in our own factory. 100% recycled aluminum is heated until liquefied, poured into a mold by hand and is then squeeze-cast using 250 tons of pressure. Our unique casting technique assures perfect cooking performance with even heat distribution and retention.
